Well here we are. I'm pretty much done with academic learning now. It's been 3 years of University, and over 2 and a half years of this podcast. Here's a mixtape, then. You could say it represented the ups and downs of my university life, or you could say that this is just 30ish tracks that I'm into at the minute, put in a decent order and then mixed. Your call. It's heavy, be sure of that. Here's the tracklisting: 1//Nation of Wusses - Infected Mushroom
Hope you like. There's gonna be the chilled out counter-part to this one very soon. Dissertation Desertion

Really need to get back to my degree...but for now, here's a monster of a banging podcast. Multiple forms of bass music are here to join the electro party today. Moombahton, Dubstep, Drumstep, Breaks, Drum n bass. All are welcome. If you've seen me dj recently then you will recognise a lot of the songs here... Oh and I recommend this for keeping your sexy self up to date with dance music goings on and whatnot: http://rollercoastermag.com/ Email: thisishedon@yahoo.co.uk

So here's the first of the two mixes I promised you! This one is very laidback. Long mixes, full songs, low energy. The next one will be quickfire brutal thumping bass music, should be finished by this time next week. It starts with a beautiful track from one of my new favourite bands, Moho Mynoki. Here's their facebook: http://www.facebook.com/mohomynokimusic Tracklist: Aubergine - Moho Mynoki Shopping Cart (Maxxi Soundsytem Remix) - Parallel Dance Ensemble J Funk - Elijah Colins, Tee-J Helinski Scorchin' (Michael Cassette Remix) - Super8, Tab Baby I'm Yours (Aeroplane Remix) - Breakbot, Irfane Sophie (Michael Cassette Remix) - Club 84 2people (2011 Rework - DCUP Remix) - Jean Jacques Smoothie, Tara Busch Winter - Michael Cassette Had Enough (Kreature Remix) - Kubiq, Real Nice Dying - Codes Strobe (Special Features Remix) - Deadmau5 Crystalised (Sir.I Remix - Torolla Edit) - The XX Subscribers! First of all, sorry! I've been a terrible podcast host I know. Haven't done one in bloody ages. This is mostly because I'm a final year student and I'm poor and don't have much time And sorry again, because this episode is a bit different. Not the usual quick-fire bangers, this is a leisurely chill-out mix to put you in a nice mood for Christmas. It's good to change things up, right? Don't worry though, the next one won't be far off, and it'll be extreme bangers all the way. Hopefully in time for New Years. I've already got half the tracks sorted. It takes longer for me, I think, because I mix faster. Most djs play 15-16 songs an hour....I'm usually more around the 35-45 region. So yeah. There's that. I have recently done a banger demo mix. It's mostly songs that have been on here before but you might like it. It's on my soundcloud: http://soundcloud.com/hedonlol This podcast starts with a bloody brilliant track from Remnant Psyche's FREE second EP. Check out their soundcloud here: http://soundcloud.com/remnantpsyche In fact, if any of you lot are from Southampton (UK) they are playing a 2 hour live set in Pop this Friday (the 16th, tomorrow!). I'll be there. Come down for a party! Also, if you fancy it, here's my twitter:
And my email address if you want to contact me for anything: thisishedon@yahoo.co.uk Anyway, tracklisting. Vain bastard that I am, I finished the mix with one of my own songs, which you can download on my soundcloud. 1//Return To The Temple - Remnant Psyche

Sorry it's been such a long time since I've posted a mix. I haven't had internet at home so I haven't been able to keep up with new releases/buy any songs. I should have a new mix sorted out in the next couple of weeks! For now, here's an original (unsigned!) song of mine. Ambient progressive house. May not be everyone's cup of tea...I know this podcast is predominantly bangers...but I thought I'd share it. Hope you like, comments/critisisms/hugs are welcome! Fresher

Hey guys, I know it's been a while since I've posted an episode. Sorry, music is expensive! There will be a proper one soon. In the mean time, here's a short video I recorded of a practise session recently. I know it's a crappy substitute for a proper mix, but there you go Here's a link if you want to check it out http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Gsnvll6MtCE Nightmare Mode, Engage

Bangarang. Thanks for the donations, hopefully I'll be able to keep this going a while longer. This has lots of different old and new stuff. Some guaranteed bass-face inducers in there too. Watch out for First Of The Year - it made me wet myself a little bit. If you fancy following me on twitter, here it is http://twitter.com/OllieSimpsonlol Hope you like it! 1//Twiggy - Kissy Sell Out

Well good news and bad news. Good news is here's another episode, with a bit of dubstep and drum n bass thrown in! Bad news is there might not be another... I'm going way over my bandwidth limit and in order to keep the podcast going I'll have to pay for an upgraded subscription...about £200 probably. As you may know, I'm a student, and there's no way in hell I'll be able to afford that (especially considering the amount I already spend on music!) If you're subscribed and you fancy donating a little, that would be absolutely smashing. Every little helps! Go to indifference.podomatic.com and there's a paypal link on the side there! You'll also find the tracklisting there. Even if you could just donate 50p (or whatever that is in your currency!), that'd be amazing. If all of you did that I'd be able to keep this going as long as I wanted! Thanks for listening and/or reading! Magic Dance

A magical journey through Nu-Disco, Moombahton and Progressive House before arriving at our final destination: Filthy Grinding Electro. Mixing this was a bit of a mind-fuck thanks to weird tempos and phrasing of tracks, but I think it came out alright! tracklisting at indifference.podomatic.com Enjoy! Revolt

tracklisting at indifference.podomatic.com Thanks to whoever runs this blog:
for quoting me! Drove a lot of traffic my way, much appreciated. “I would rather be ashes than dust! I would rather that my spark should burn out in a brilliant blaze than it should be stifled by dry-rot. I would rather be a superb meteor, every atom of me in magnificent glow, than a sleepy and permanent planet. The function of man is to live, not to exist. I shall not waste my days trying to prolong them. I shall use my time.” -Jack London Get your groove on How Do You Dance To This?

FACEBOOK! http://www.facebook.com/pages/ADissident/107345916008190 SOUNDCLOUD! http://soundcloud.com/adissident It is my current theory that the reason most people don't like dance music is that they have no idea how to dance. And I mean dance in the true sense. Not the sexualised swaying and grinding performed by most who are considered "good dancers". I mean when people really let go, lose all self-consciousness and become lost in the music itself. With most chart music, people simply bop, sing along, and act out the words. When a song comes on that they can't do this to, they have no idea what to do. They become aware of their movements, and don't know what to do about it. Real dancing does not look sexy, or cool, or charismatic. It's just pure ecstatic energy. Protip: When someone's dancing properly, they often have their eyes closed.
